Best Nba Player Of All Time
Scotto: In our rankings, Jordan is ahead of LeBron. Jordan’s argument against LeBron is that he went undefeated in six Finals appearances, and won Finals MVP in each of those appearances. He had a career average, scoring 10 points and shooting slightly better free throws. Jordan also won the Defensive Player of the Year Award, was on the All-Defensive Teams, and won one more MVP than LeBron. LeBron is a better rebounder and passer than Jordan.

Scotto: There are six players on the list who played in the top 10 for the Lakers at some point in their careers. Six Lakers players in the top ten are LeBron James, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Magic Johnson, Wilt Chamberlain, Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal.
Scotto: When I look at the number of great players, you look at guys like Bob Pettit and George Mikan who were considered great in their generation and era. They had a large percentage. Pettitte shot 43 percent for his career. Mikan played just seven seasons and shot 40 percent. A few years ago, there were only a few teams in the league, and they were as stacked as the Celtics in the 60s.
Scotto: There are 33 new players out of 75 in the top 75 positions (compared to the NBA’s 1996 list). These 33 entries include: LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Tim Duncan, Kevin Durant, Kevin Garnett, Stephen Curry, Dirk Nowitzki, Dwyane Wade, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Chris Paul, Allen Iverson, Steve Nash, Kawhi Leonard, Jason Kidd, James Harden. King, and Tracy McGrady.
Gozlan: We only got it in the top 25. I was surprised at how tall he was when we made the team. He is a two-time MVP. He has a ring. He was the Defensive Player of the Year. He’s only been in the league for eight years. By the time it’s all said and done, he’ll probably double his rank.

Draymond Green: “You’d better know you’re ready to deal with all the effects the contract could have on the team.”
Big Rumor 12 hours ago Grant Williams not to accept extension with Celtics: You don’t want to do wrong When the sports team started making this list, we weren’t worried that LeBron should be higher than MJ. We’re not concerned (for now) with why Tim Duncan is ranked in the top 10 over, say, Kevin Garnett and Kevin Durant.
Instead, the political and petty attacks on each other’s basketball skills heated up, over multiple phone calls and texts, as we tried to get to the bottom of the top 30 NBA players by Shaq and Kobe by points and guard group. Time limits. Guaranteed to get basketball fans in the mood, and in our humble opinion, a better job than some of the sites floating around the interwebs that shall remain nameless.
Up until the last minute, we debated whether or not Shaquille O’Neal, one of the greatest men and court-shattering man in NBA history, deserved a higher honor than the late, great Kobe Bryant. O’Neal was physically and numerically unlike any other position the NBA had ever seen. But how much credit do you give Bryant for winning more rings and drawing legitimate comparisons to Michael Jordan?

If there were only one, who would you trust to be the top three point guards – Chris Paul, Steve Nash and Jason Kidd? When looking for an actor that everyone involved in this complex and demanding process felt was worthy of the billing, we quickly realized that it would be difficult to agree. There were passionate demands to measure unprecedented achievements against strong potential. Others have argued that there should be more to the numbers and that awards are not always given to the most deserving.
But decisions had to be made. For better or worse, here are the 30 greatest players in NBA history. Praise or column options as you wish. Some will love the forms, some will hate them. We were delighted to learn that Kevin Durant could be in the top 10 the next time we update. Discussion never dies and we are ready for it.
It worries me that people may be surprised by the inclusion of Allen Iverson on this list. AI is definitely a top 30 NBA player. Just look at the compliments. 11-time NBA All-Star. NBA MVP. Three-time first team All-NBA. Four-time NBA champion. 75-year-old NBA team member. The list goes on, but Iverson’s influence on current and even future NBA players means more than his numbers on the court. LeBron James called him the best pound-for-pound. Dwyane Wade says AI is part of the reason he wore No.3 throughout his career. You can talk to former and current NBA stars about why Iverson is so great and means so much to them. Personally, I will never forget Game 1 of the 2001 NBA Finals. One of the most amazing basketball court experiences I have ever seen. For a guy his size, going down 48 points against the Los Angeles Lakers is unbelievable.
If you’re wondering why point guards are declining at this point after playing 19 career seasons with the Jazz, I have to seriously question your basketball IQ. John Stockton is the NBA leader in assists and steals; he’s a 10-time All-Star, made 12 All-NBA teams, been on the All-Defensive Team five times, and apparently earned a spot on the NBA’s 75-year-old team, so his resume shows he’s (arguably) faster than 6. ‘ 1.” Ram. And, oh, let’s not forget, he was a member of the greatest team ever assembled: the 1992 Dream Team. Stockton, a 2009 inductee into the Naismith Basketball Fan Hall of Fame, is arguably one of the greatest guards in the area. He’s not clean, often the so called dirty, wore those short shorts, wasn’t an outfielder, and benefited greatly from playing with Karl Malone his entire career, whose intelligence is easily forgotten.Show respect.

Zeke’s actions over the years have been marred by the opinions of his teammates and the issues he’s brought to the court during his time in the Knicks front office. However, as the leader of two of the most hated championship teams in NBA history, there’s no denying what he’s done on the court. The bad boys broke the NBA’s Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, and Michael Jordan, and most of the damage was done to the 6’1″ God. During what many called the toughest era of NBA basketball, Detroit won back-to-back championships and Jordan was scratched and scratched for years. Thomas wanted to was a big devil who could score and put his team on his back to win. He’s still in the top five in assists (he averaged 13.9 apg in ’85) and still gets under MJ’s skin. Zeke not being on the Dream Team is a big deal, understated. but he earned a spot on the NBA’s 75th team.
There’s only one thing left for Kawhi Leonard
